About Venue and Getting There
Osaka, situated in Japan’s Kansai region, is a dynamic metropolitan city known for its unique blend of tradition, innovation, and modern urban life. The city is celebrated for its warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage, offering a mix of historic landmarks and contemporary attractions, including Osaka Castle, Sumiyoshi Taisha, and the vibrant districts of Dotonbori and Namba. Often referred to as “Japan’s Kitchen,” Osaka boasts a diverse culinary scene ranging from popular street foods like takoyaki and okonomiyaki to fine dining experiences. It is also a major center for commerce, technology, and international business, making it an ideal destination for global conferences. With its efficient public transportation system, including the Osaka Metro and JR Osaka Loop Line, the city ensures easy connectivity within Osaka and to nearby destinations such as Kyoto and Kobe.
Getting to Tokyo by Air:
Osaka is served by Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Osaka Itami Airport (ITM). Kansai Airport, located about 50 km from the city on an artificial island, handles most international flights, while Itami Airport mainly operates domestic services. Both airports offer convenient access to the city through reliable transport options such as the JR Haruka Express, Nankai Line, airport buses, and taxis.
